Walk This Way...... With Passion and Joy
Think about the footprints in the sand that you make with every step you take. The Footprints in The Sand poem, written by Mary Stevenson, represents our lifeline, or our life journey. For everyone has their own life story, created and evolved from their daily walk on earth. What is your life story?
Your footprints in the sand are unique, special, one of a kind, because you are made in the image and likeness of God. For God loves you and wants you to live an abundant life, a life of passion and joy. He desires for you to reach and to strive for your full life potential.
Undertaking the task of discovering who we are, what kind of person we want to be, and what kind of life we want to live, may be the most important assignment we ever accept. It certainly will be the greatest footprints in the sand we will ever leave behind.
The purpose of all life is growth, advancement, expansion, and development. As our life story unfolds with each footprint in the sand, we should have a burning desire within us to experience as much of our greatness and capabilities as we can. God’s gift to you is your unlimited potential. Your greatest gift to God is to use that potential to the fullest.

By living in harmony with the world and being in unity with God, and with every footprint in the sand you make, there are certain qualities that lie deep within you. As you strive to develop your full life potential, these God-qualities are an integral part of you; life, love, wisdom, intelligence, peace, creativity, beauty and joy. Life is a temporary assignment, and our time here on earth is just for a little while. Be the best you can be with every footprint in the sand you leave behind. You can render God and humanity no better service than to make the most of yourself. Think about this for a moment. When was the last time you took a coastal vacation and actually left your footprints in the sand? When have you walked on the beach and enjoyed the beauty of an ocean sunset? When have you felt fully alive, living a life filled with passion and joy? Treasure the moments of leaving your footprints in the sand, and make each footprint special in the presence of God. And whenever you stop and turn around to look at your footprints in the sand, my hope and prayer is that God blessed your life in many ways. May your faith strengthen you for the journey, as you help others with their footprints in the sand. May your walk this way……… be one of enthusiasm and a zest for life.

The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.”
